About BaziTools Observatory
BaziTools.com was built to solve a glaring problem in English-language Chinese astrology: for decades, Western seekers were given oversimplified “birth-year animal horoscopes” or uncalibrated calculators that ignored geographic longitude, Equation of Time, and the Solar Lichun boundary.
True Solar Time by Default
Every calculation on BaziTools passes through our 5-Gate True Solar Time pipeline—accounting for exact birth longitude, Jean Meeus's Equation of Time, and historical Daylight Saving Time regimes worldwide.
Grounded in the Four Classics
Our structural rules, Ten Gods definitions, and Na Yin archetypes are cross-referenced directly against San Ming Tong Hui (三命通会), Di Tian Sui (滴天髓), Zi Ping Zhen Quan (子平真诠), and Qiong Tong Bao Jian (穷通宝鉴).
Zero Birth-Data Monetization
Your birth date, time, and city coordinates are computed instantaneously in your browser session. We never sell personal birth records or lock basic Four Pillars matrices behind deceptive paywalls.
Open Ephemeris Standards & Sister Cultural Projects
Our calculation core integrates deterministic astronomical solar-term ephemeris tables with classical Song and Ming dynasty texts, ensuring every Four Pillars chart, 10-Year Da Yun Luck Pillar, 64-Hexagram Yao matrix, and 12-Palace Zi Wei Dou Shu astrolabe is reproducible to the exact solar arcminute. Whether you are a professional practitioner auditing hidden-stem weights or a first-time reader discovering your Day Master, every formula and lookup rule is transparently documented in our 5-Gate Astronomical Methodology archive.
